“A Filmmaker’s Journey: Can We Promote a Nuanced Climate Conversation Through Digital Media and the Arts?”

Sara Penrhyn Jones will talk about her experience of filming at the yearly climate conferences (Conferences of the Parties of the UNFCCC) and her newest project on climate migration and sea-level rise. She is particularly interested in how the medium of film could help marry the arts and sciences.

Wednesday, 7th of March, Arts Centre Cinema, 12:45 – 2:00 pm

All are welcome!

The above picture, “Borth Sea Defence,” is taken in Borth where Sara filmed, among other things, the dropping of Norwegian rocks into the sea as part of sea-defence work.
